Subsidiary companies of Russian Grids, JSC – IDGC of the North-West and Lenenergo – having signed a plan for the Cooperation Agreement implementation

On May 22, 2014, within the framework of the Saint Petersburg International Economic Forum 2014, subsidiary enterprises of Russian Grids, JSC – Lenenergo, JSC and IDGC of the North-West – signed the Plan for the Cooperation Agreement implementation. General Director of Lenenergo, JSC Andrey Sorochinsky and Acting General Director of IDGC of the North-West, JSC Andrey Letyagin affixed their signatures to the document.

The plan stipulates organization of the two companies’ joint activity for management efficiency enhancement.  For the plant implementation, Lenenergo, JSC and IDGC of the North-West, JSC have already created a joint design office and work teams in charge of the core activity areas:  technical policy, technological connection, energy efficiency, investment, economy and finance, procurement activities, IT.

The plan of measures within the framework of the Agreement stipulates formation and upkeep of a unified emergency stock of materials for elimination of consequences of natural disasters and technological disturbances in operation of electric power grid complexes, elaboration and adoption of a benchmarking system that will enable significant enhancement of the current operational efficiency of Lenenergo, JSC and IDGC of the North-West, JSC.

The Agreement implementation is to result in achievement of a synergetic effect of the companies' operational efficiency improvement.  The amount of IDGC of the North-West and Lenenergo saving from joint work is planned to make 150 mln RUB already in 2014 and 1.5 bln RUB – in 2016.  The personnel performance will increase by 16%.
